انجمن امداد دانشجویی مردمی امام علی یک سازمان غیردولتی پیشرو است که به کاهش آسیبپذیری و آسیبهای اجتماعی اختصاص دارد. این انجمن که در دهه 1990 تأسیس شده و به طور رسمی در وزارت کشور ایران به ثبت رسیده است، فعالیتهای خود را در سراسر کشور گسترش داده و از کودکان و زنانی که تحت تأثیر فقر، جنگ و مسائل اجتماعی قرار دارند، حمایت میکند. دفتر اصلی این انجمن در تهران، خیابان نجاتاللهی، کوچه هشتم، شماره 6 واقع شده است و آدرس دیگر آن تهران، میدان محمدیه، خیابان مولوی، کوچه قفلسازان، شماره 3 و تهران، تهران، IR است.
انجمن امداد دانشجویی مردمی امام علی با بیش از 12000 داوطلب، که عمدتاً دانشجویان و فارغالتحصیلان دانشگاهها هستند، خدمات ضروری را از طریق بیش از 30 مرکز خدماتی به نام «خانههای ایرانی» ارائه میدهد. این مراکز از نزدیک به 3500 کودک محروم حمایت میکنند. در سطح بینالمللی، این سازمان بر کمک به کودکان جنگزده در خاورمیانه، به ویژه در عراق، سوریه و افغانستان متمرکز است.
