Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK)

The Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK) is dedicated to fostering rural development and creating better socio-economic conditions in Kosovo's rural areas. Established in 2004, IADK focuses on reducing unemployment and imports, promoting the production of healthy foods, ensuring the rational use of natural resources, and protecting the environment.

Located at Miran Xhafa, No.11, Vushtrri, 42000, XK, IADK works closely with farmers, their associations, other non-governmental organizations, municipalities, and government authorities, paying close attention to diversity and inclusiveness. The Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo is committed to developing farmers’ production capacities, increasing their market competitiveness, and disseminating knowledge of best practices in agricultural production and home food processing.

The Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK) also actively lobbies for policies and projects that contribute to rural development in Kosovo, aligning with EU standards. The Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo also supports marginalized groups, ethnic and religious minorities, farmers, and women from remote rural areas.
