House of Wheels

House of Wheels is a distinguished Israeli non-profit organization established in 1979, dedicated to fostering inclusion and providing comprehensive support for individuals with physical disabilities. With a strong foundation built over decades, House of Wheels operates through six branches nationwide, impacting the lives of approximately 500 participants and supported by an equal number of dedicated volunteers from diverse backgrounds across Israeli society.

House of Wheels serves as a vital home away from home for its participants, offering a continuum of programs tailored to meet their evolving needs from childhood through adulthood. These programs focus on developing essential life skills, promoting independence, and creating enriching social experiences. The organization’s core programs include weekend groups for children and teenagers, the Rolling Forward leadership training program, and a young adults program, ensuring comprehensive support for autonomous living.

Located at 128 David Hameleh Street, Herzliyah, IL, House of Wheels continues to expand its reach and impact. Furthermore, The Rolling Experience, a social enterprise created and run by House of Wheels graduates, offers experiential workshops that provide firsthand insights into living with physical disabilities.
