Hope Rescue

Hope Rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of stray and abandoned dogs in South Wales, providing a second chance for animals in need. With a commitment to animal welfare, Hope Rescue collaborates with six Local Authorities in South Wales, including Merthyr Tydfil, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Vale of Glamorgan (West), and Rhondda Cynon Taf, ensuring that all stray dogs receive care regardless of their age, breed, or medical condition.

Operating from its rescue center in Llanharan, South Wales, since 2017, Hope Rescue provides comprehensive services, including rescue kennels, exercise paddocks, an indoor training center, and private woodland. The organization also supports owners in crisis, offering responsible rehoming services and peace of mind. Hope Rescue’s efforts extend beyond rehoming, focusing on addressing the root causes of irresponsible ownership through the Hope in the Community program, which promotes the therapeutic role of dogs in the local community.
