The European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO) stands as a prominent international network, uniting 23 leading non-profit, non-partisan, and non-governmental organizations across 18 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Founded in 2001, ENEMO is dedicated to fostering the involvement of civil society organizations in countries undergoing democratic transitions, striving for enhanced electoral processes, government transparency, and accountability, as well as the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms. ENEMO's core mission involves assessing electoral processes and the political landscape through the deployment of international election observation missions. These missions provide precise and unbiased observation reports, employing international benchmarks and standards for democratic elections alongside the host country's legal framework to rigorously evaluate the electoral process. ENEMO and its member organizations are committed to the principles outlined in the 2005 Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation and the 2012 Declaration of Global Principles for Non-partisan Election Observation and Monitoring by Citizen Organizations.
