City Mission PNG

City Mission PNG is dedicated to fostering positive change within communities through a comprehensive range of social and civic initiatives. With multiple facilities strategically located in Port Moresby, Lae, and Madang, City Mission PNG is committed to providing essential services and support to those in need. Our New Life Skills Training Centres offer a transformative 14-month residential program, equipping individuals with vital life skills, literacy, and vocational training. These centers can accommodate over 300 young men, providing them with a nurturing environment to rebuild their lives.

Recognizing the urgent need to address Gender Based Violence (GBV), City Mission PNG established long-term shelters, Haus Ruth in Port Moresby and Meri Seif Haus in Lae, offering comprehensive support, counseling, and social services to women and their children who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse. Furthermore, in response to the growing number of street children, City Mission PNG launched the New Life Children’s Crisis Centre, the first government-certified facility of its kind in the country. NLCCC provides short-term residential care, counseling, and unwavering love to abused, abandoned, and orphaned children, while Haus Clare in Lae serves as a longer-term orphanage.

Rooted in Christian values, City Mission PNG believes in the importance of spiritual development. The organization encourages spiritual growth through all its programs, partnering with local churches to provide discipleship, encouragement, and fellowship. Operating as a non-profit NGO, City Mission PNG relies on the generous donations of organizations, businesses, and individuals to continue making a significant impact on countless families throughout Papua New Guinea.
