Asian Bar Association of Washington (ABAW)

The Asian Bar Association of Washington (ABAW) stands as a leading voice for the Asian Pacific American legal profession within Washington State. Established in 1987, ABAW serves as a vital network for its diverse membership, including attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students.

ABAW is dedicated to serving the needs and interests of the APA/API community, representing approximately 200 Asian attorneys, law students, judges, and legal professionals across a broad spectrum of practice areas. ABAW facilitates networking opportunities and provides essential mutual support for its members. Through its active committees, the Asian Bar Association of Washington monitors legislative developments, evaluates judicial candidates, and champions equal opportunity, fostering alliances with other organizations both within the legal field and in the wider community.

The Asian Bar Association of Washington is committed to community service through initiatives such as Legal Clinics and other public service projects.
