Malibu Family Wines perfectly captures the essence of Southern California in every bottle. Nestled at the crest of the Santa Monica Mountains, the company’s unique vineyards benefit from rocky terrain and steep, south-facing slopes, creating an ideal environment for cultivating premium wine grapes. Since planting began in 1997 with 14 acres of Cabernet and Merlot, Malibu Family Wines has expanded to approximately 61,000 vines across 61 acres, featuring eight varietals and with sights set on reaching 100 acres. The varietals planted include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Mourvedre, Grenache, Viognier, and Malbec.

Malibu Family Wines proudly offers two distinct brands. Semler Wines are 100% estate-grown in Malibu, showcasing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Syrah varietals within their own Saddle Rock–Malibu AVA. Saddlerock Wines feature California and Central Coast appellation varietals such as Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Orange Muscat, Syrah, Sparkling Wine, Tawny Port, Rose, and Pinot Noir.
