ODE4HERA is at the forefront of aviation and aerospace component manufacturing, dedicated to speeding up the development of future aircraft through digital engineering. Supported by the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking and its members, ODE4HERA focuses on enabling and accelerating the development of Hybrid-Electric Regional (HER) aircraft. This is achieved through improved tools and techniques implemented in a transferable and Open Digital Platform (ODP).

ODE4HERA addresses the complexities of HER configurations, which involve new aircraft technologies and broader collaboration across the value/supply chain. By combining Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO), Simulation Data Management (SDM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technologies, ODE4HERA is streamlining the design and validation processes. These advanced technologies are extended with novel open interfaces, formats, and smart model and data transformation technologies, efficiently handling the complexity of HER configurations.
