CHORA is a leading architecture, urbanism, and research office established in 1994. Operating as an international network of research and practice clusters, CHORA leverages offices in London, Berlin, and Beijing to assemble the perfect team for each project, ensuring collaborative expertise across locations.

With a long-term commitment to innovative methods for architectural design and urban planning, CHORA is dedicated to mitigating and adapting to the challenges of climate change. CHORA specializes in integrating urban design and energy planning, pioneering innovative methods to coordinate energy-efficient and renewable energy solutions in cities and regions. Actively involved in the Smart Cities movement, CHORA has initiated and participated in numerous Smart City-related projects, including the large-scale vision for the Taiwan Strait Smart Region.

CHORA has a strong educational presence, teaching architectural and urban design courses at universities across Europe, including the Architectural Association, University of Applied Sciences in Dusseldorf, The CASS School of Architecture at London Metropolitan University, and the Technical University Berlin. CHORA has been recognized with numerous prizes for large-scale urban projects, including 1st Prize for the Tempelhof urban ideas competition in Berlin and 1st Prize for the Kampen Gateway Competition in Kampen, The Netherlands.
